01

Die Geschichte der Konsole

Dreamcast launched in Japan in 1998, followed by North America and Europe in 1999. Sega designed network features into the platform rather than relying solely on a later accessory.[1]

The Visual Memory Unit stored saves and could display information through a controller. Sega announced the end of console production and its move away from home hardware in 2001.[1]
